Pulling data from R/3 System to CRM

Hi to all Gurus,

What is the most recommended automatic data communication between R/3 System and any other system.?

We want to pull data automatically from few R/3 modules to our CRM system. How can we do that?

What all compitability criteria CRM should satisfy for this?

Hi,

The standard link between CRM and R/3 is called the middleware and uses BDOCS to send/receive data.

the concept is very similar to ALE and IDOCS. Of courde it uses RFC connections.

I don't know about automatic... but the communication be done for sure using an RFC connection.

I presume will be done using a schedule job... this is funtional question which i can't answer. this should be posted on the CRM forum.
