Hi because i am a fresher i already read all the tutorials to set up CMS and transport developing obejcts.

But something didn't wor out so far. What have i done after setting up CMS:

1. Declare SVC in SLD

2. developed objects and activated them via Standard Change List

3. chose SVC to be exported but i only get Option for transport via file system

Our SVC is called like Z_XYZ. We already tried to add this to tracklist but with no success because we are not able to find it when we want to "Add SC"....

What is wrong?

1. How to declare a SVC to be able to add to tracklist??

2. How to be able to export object other like via File System?!

It would be a great help if someone could help us!!

Hi,

In Integration Repository object:

Right click on the Namespace which you want to send to Quality system and select the export optin and export

it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export\sample.tpz

<what to do after creation of .tpz files for DEV>

This file will be copied and posted in follwoing path of QA

\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\sample.tpz

Similar procedure for directory

Right click on the configuration scenarion in development which you want to send to Quality select the export

optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\export\sample.tpz

<how to reflect it in QA >

then login to the IR of the Quality select the Tools--Import option you will get this tpz file and import it and

activate.

Hi, well for all who might stuck in this situation.

Please note when you add a new SVC in SLD you have to UPDATE CMS so that the new SVC will be loaded.

Go to Landscape Configurator in CMS, chose Domain Data, chose Change and Update CMS.

After this all my problems has been solved!

Advice to SAP: perhaps it might be useful to implement an automatic replication with the SLD?!
