Add usage type PI to an existing IDES ERP 6.0 (basis 7.0)

Hi

I have searched for a long time, but cannot find guides on how to install PI into an existing system based on NW 7.0. Does anybody know?

Note : Did you install the abap stack first, then the java addin....?

if you have done so..and then look for the sapinstdir that was created locally...and find sapinstdev.log..might give you more info..also look for sapappl0.log...etc
