Changes to User Config not downloading

Former Member

After changing the order work centre in User Dependent Settings, the old activity types from the cost centre linked to the previous work centre are not deleted. These are viewed on the data for "090 - User customizing" using the addition of "/start.jsp" to the URL for the local host.

This results in the wrong activity types being available for selection and a wrong default being suggested.

How can this old config be removed from the user data on the client?

Hi John,

there can be several reasons why you have this issue.

One is: the replication did not work properly. If you do a change in the selection criteria it is sometimes not totally recogniced by the middleware and there is still the old data available even after a successfull replication. this is due to the fact that the replication is most likely part of the MW coding. What you can do in that case s to delete the replication data in MW by using the function ....RDB...T01...RESET. I Do not know the exact name at the moment, but if you look for it, it will be clear to you. Once there, just enter the name of the BO (MAM30_090 in your case) and run this module. After this is done, run the replicator again - it should give you the latest data to the middleware. I would furthermore recommend then the client reset that Shiva alredy mentioned to really get the latest data. the problem here is notthat simply data was changed, it is the change of the general selection criteria that is the issue.

Well, if youstill have the problem after this: run the GETLIST handler and the GETDETAIL handler for your SyncBO in the backend and see if the results are correct.

and if it is to risky in your eyes to run the T01.. reset function - you can go to MEREP_SBUILDER and regenerate the MAM30_090 SyncBO. this asks you if you want to delete the ReplicaDB for this partivular BO. Anwer the question with yes. But do not forget to activate the BO again in MEREP_PD after you recompiled it.

Hope this solves the issue.

Oliver

Hi,

After changing the order work center in user dependent settings in the R/3 system, did you replicate the syncbo MAM25_090 in MI middleware system(you can do this by going to transaction merep_pd). If not then this is problem why the old values are not deleted from the client.

If you have already replicated the data of MAM25_090 to the middleware system and you still have old values on the client, then try to sync a couple of time before the old values are replaced with new ones.

Even after doing this if you are not able to get the proper data, then in MI client, Go to settings tab and then do a client reset of data by clicking "Reset Client" button and then do sync a couple of times and you should be able to get the new data.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Siva.
