Hi,

whether BOM is possible at quotation.

my client is in Projects in that project he requires many material when sales department quotes the value he consider all material required & quotes the final value. he wants in quotation he will choose different material so that he cant type it

How to map this for project?

Hi,

Create a Single FERT material with billable status (Get the correct requirement type for this). This will be th efinal proejct which will be sold.

Create all other multiple materials as HALB as non billable status.

Assigne these components inside the Sales document.

Hi Rahul,

You can have BOM explosion in the quotation but you you need to do the settings in the Quotation itemcategory.

Go to VOV7 select your quotation condition type then go in to the detail screen here you can find the tab Bill Of Material/Configuration you maintain the fields Structure scope as "A"- Explode single-level bill of material and Application as SD01-Sales and Distribution.

Create BOM in CS01 transaction for the specific plant

Now you enter that material in the quotation BOM will get explode and sub items will come automatically in the quotation.
