how use the user status in Engineering Change Management ?

Hi SAP gurus,

I need your help.

Where can i use the user status of ECM ? Is there any example....

In my scenario, before approve ECR status , ECR should approve by different depts (Like Costing, Manufacturing, ECR generated by Purchase Dept.). Is it possible through user status ?

Points will be given.

Hello,

yes. it is possible.

1. create User status profiles

Production planning for process industries  Process order  Master Data  Order Define authorization keys for user status profiles

2. assign the user status profiles to User status

-Application components  Engineering Change Management  Change type  Define Status Profile

or

Production  Shop floor control  Master data  Order  Define status profile

3. assign the authorizations to Users accordingly..
