Solution Manager Certification for pure Technical Consultants

Hi SolMan experts,

I am pure Technical guy, working as Basis Consultant and want to do certicication in Solution Manager.

Which of the following certifications are best suit for me.

SAP Certified Solution Consultant - SAP Solution Manager 4.0 Implementation Tools

SAP Certified Solution Consultant IT Excellence - SAP Solution Manager 4.0 Operations

I heard that above certifications are for Functional guys and the following are for Technical guys. Is it so?

SAP Certified E2E Application Management Expert - Change Control Management

SAP Certified E2E Application Management Expert - Root Cause Analysis

SAP Certified E2E Business Process Expert - Integration & Automation

SAP Certified E2E Program Manager - Technical Upgrade Management

Please let me which one is the best opt for me.

Hi Hari,

SAP Certified Solution Consultant IT Excellence - SAP Solution Manager 4.0 Operations is actually meant for Technical persons like you and not for Functional.

Of course, there are topics within it (Service Desk, core of BPM) which does appeal to a Functional person too.

I would seriously recommend this course for you; later, you may like to expand on one of those E2E certifications.
