Notification header how the field estimated cost have values

Hi,

the field name is ZZCOST i think this was customized for us but the description is estimated cost, which is SAP standard as table VIQMEL is a standard SAP and if you will look for a field it has estimated cost, the ZZCOST i mentioned is just the customized filed name we made for estimated cost, hope this clarify things up, just want to ask how could this field " estimated cost are filled up with values when creating a NOTIFICATION using tcode QM01?

Determine Costing Variant

In this step, you define a costing variant for notifications.

You need this costing variant, if you want to plan costs for individual notificatons.

The costing variant is a Customizing object from Controlling. It groups together several control parameters for planning costs. The costing variant is formed from the following parameters:

Costing type

Costing type 23 is predefined for notifications.

Valuation variant

You use the valuation variant to define which prices are used by the system to evaluate materials, internal activities and external activities.

Requirements

A screen area for costing purposes must be defined for the notification type. The standard system provides screen area 060 on tab page 10/TAB09 for this purpose.

A company code must be entered in the notification.

Recommendation

Copy the standard settings.

Make sure that any modifications you require are performed by a Controlling specialist.

Activities

Check whether the costing variant that has been set in the standard system is available in your client and whether the settings are suitable for your company.

Further notes

The options available for use with notifications that are provided by the parameters costing type and valuation variant are intentionally restricted.

hello,

think i really make confuse you guys sorry for that, am talking about the table VIQMEL use tcode SE16 wuth this and table name VIQMEL is a standard table in SAP for NOTIFICATION right? if you will go to the "setting --field for selection --- you can find there estimated cost" and when this field for selection was tick then execute table VIQMEl my created notification "estimated cost" section was ZERO, i must need this section have values so i think there were some lack on my NOTIFICATION for this becuase it is zero, i want some help from you if you know how to have this section "estimated cost" have values.
