SAP GUI upgrade from 6.40 to 7.10 Release

Hi,

I have a client requirement. The client have 3000 ERP users and want to upgrade SAP GUI 6.40 to 7.10 .

What is the procedure. What about the configuration setting. Do I have to configure for each and every PC or I can install the config files from REDEDIT directories in Window.

Hi. Try to download the SAPGUI 710 instguid. Go to http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000614745&; in left press on

"SAP GUI for Windows" --> 7.10, download this file.

Read about Installation server, about how you can create the self packages and install it (if you try installation 710 it's first deinstall the 640 and after installs new 710 version). About where sapgui keeps each user settings read this
