Purchase requisition from sales order

Can I create PR from sales order automatically, what configuration is to be done.

Pls share your view.

Hi balaji

In the schedule line VOV6 details there is a field document type . In that field assign Purchase document type NB .

Say for example , if you create an sales order you will get a schedule line with CP , now in CP assign the NB document type . once you save the sales order automatically the purchase requisition is created.

But purchase requisitions are created for the reference of MM consultants.So it is not advisable to maintain the document type field in the schedule line . details. Except like third party scenarios

Hi Balaji,

Automatic PR generation is meant to be done when thrid party sales processing is being done. The following settings need to be done for the same:

In VOV7, click on Automatic PR. Also, item category should be set to TAS.

In VOV6, maintain schedule line as CS and enable auto PR generation.

If you see the configuration steps for thirs party sales, it will be more clear.
