Selection of Measuring Instrument during result recording

Dear Gurus,

During the result recording of MIC, I want to select the instrument which I am going to use for measuing the MIc.

Eg:

I am measuring the length of one Rod.

The MIC Length can be measured by Screw gauge, Vernier caliper , Micro meter or ruled scale .

So I have to select either one during result recording.

Please suggest me how to select or identify the instrument during result recording.

Dear Srinivasan,

First Create an equipment as a category PRT in IE01.

go to insp. plan QP01/02>>>> select MIC (make sure Test Equipment is selected in control indicator)>>>>click on PRT>>>>Equipment>>>>Assign the created equipment in PRT>>>> now system will force u to select the Equipment against MIC say op. no 0010.

during RR in QE01 select MIC and click on Display, u can view the assigned equipment.

revert back for any issue.
