difference in server for tcode cbih02

hi all,

In transaction CBIH02 when i create a work area and save it,it normally goes to the edit work area screen giving a saved message,with all the butons active in toolbar.

my problem is when i do that in one sever it is wrking fine.

but in another server when i save it goes to the edit screen but the toolbar buttons do not appear nor the saved message.

plz help.

Hi,

Check the authorization for the functions in the tool bar for the server which is not showing.

when we click the industrial hygine and saftey data button this the error the system is giving.

Hi,

whats your EHS version?? like 3.1 or 3.2 and SP 16 or 17 like so..based on that SP, you need to apply the patches, then only all ur customising data (user exits ) get corrected,

give me ur correct verion and SP level; then i can give u the appropriate notes

You mean its going back to initial screen without commiting any data when saving that workarea??Can you bit elaborate on your problem, like exact error u r getting etc.. so as to analyte it preciously for solution;

No it is not commiting.

The normal process is----

When we create and save the work area (in the edit wrk area screen).It saves (gives a success message) and then goes to the next screen(edit wrk area:header screen),Showing all the data as editable,with the toolbar having the fuction buttons in active state.

now what happens is-------

when i try to do the same in another server.the data doesnot get saved.it goes to the initial screen (edit wrk area screen).

reason could be missing Customizing settings. Check the Customizing settings

listed below. Basically, there are three possible causes:

1.) User exits

2.) Status profiles

3.) Number ranges
