j2ee server failed to start

Hi My J2ee server did not start up I have tried many time even system

shutdown but still it is not coming up

The std_server0.out file contains the following data please help

Server0 always end up with exit code -11113

Try this:

Server Startup Error

Check your SAP Backend System Client (which you have specified in config tool) whether J2EE_Guest user has been created or not.If not create it manually.

Go to Transaction PFCG and edit the user roles SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION, SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO and SAP_J2EE_ADMIN for users J2EE_Admin , SAPJSF if something shown in RED color,edit it , save it and restart the J2EE Server.

It should resolve your issue.

Check this SAP Note.

Note 1042418 - "No active userstore is set

This error is because you have given wrong value for one or more Parameter in UME settings.

Check out the note and let me know if any issues.

i have tried that note but still no use i have restored all the ume setting to its default still i am facing the problem j2ee server always fail to start with exit code -11113

Have you recently tried to change UME Datasource?

If yes , Check below SAP Notes:

Note 718383 - NetWeaver: Supported UME Data Sources and Change Options

Note 810434 - J2EE does not start after switching UME persistence.

Exit code -11113 looks like it the problem with LDAP/UME Datasource connectivity issue.

Please read the last few lines of server0.log, dev_server0.log std_server0.log. Post it here , we will get a hint of is the problem.

Make sure the parameter ume.login.guest_user.uniqueids in the service com.sap.security.core.ume.service is set to J2EE_GUEST and also whether the J2EE_GUEST is locked or not in the ABAP stack in the client - 001( if the ume.r3.connection.master.client is set to - 001)

Hi,

your problem come from the user : J2EE_GUEST and J2EE_ADMIN !

In your SAP logs you can read:

USER_AUTH_FAILED: User account for logonid "j2ee_guest" not found!

Control with the config tool which SAP client is used by the UME Engine. The default client is 001.

With your SAP Gui in transaction code SU01, you need to have the users:

J2EE_GUEST and J2EE_ADMIN.

Let's control if there aren't locked.
