PO Item not getting Deleted which is Assigned to WBS Element.

Dear All,

We have created one PO. In that total item are 490, so I have to delete item no 447.

For deleting item no.447 from PO, Firstly i have selected that item & clicked on Delete button.Before saving I am clicking on check button then system gives following error message.

Item 447 WBS element G.0720665.ME.PR.01 budget exceeded

Message no. BP604

Diagnosis

In document item 447 WBS element G.0720665.ME.PR.01, budget for fiscal year 2008 was exceeded by 59.840,00 INR.

Hi,

Is MIGO done for this material?

If not then try this:

Step 1: Tcode CJBW

Step 2: Delete the line item from PO.

Step3. Tcode CJBV

Dont forget step3 in the end.

Thanks for Solution.

But this is the Right or Legal way to Delete PO item.

As you suggested 1st we have to deactivate availability control for projects, then delete po item & save.After this again we have to activate Project availability control.

By doing this way can i face any kind of problem from my management.

Is any other way to delete po item.

Hi,

Try doing this:

go to this particular PO line Item which you want to delete.

In the net price, reduce it to 0.01 And now try to put the deletion inidcator.

I think you have already created Purchasr requistions on this WBS element G.0720665.ME.PR.01.

Pls. check if any find then delete it or release the budget 59.840,00 INR on WBS.
