J2EE Settings to access external webservice?

Hi,

I am unable to access an external webservice from a webdynpro application residing on WAS J2EE server. Are they any special settings to be made on the J2EE?

hi MK.

if u are using external webservises.

u have to provide details about your proxy.

to do this.

go to :

MODELNMAE > LOGICAL PORTS > SELECT SERVISENAME >

in Access tab:

check HTTP proxy.

proxy host : ip of ur proxy.

port : port(ex 8003);

check : use HTTP cookie based connection.

What was the problem ?

Please check the proxy settings in the IDE.

The HTTP Proxy password field is deactivated in the web service model settings.
