Reflection X suddenly kills my JSPM session. I cannot log in anymore!

Hi Gurus,

I'm in a sticky situation now.

I'm using NWDI in AIX with DB2.

I was running JSPM and deploying my support packages when suddenly my reflection X screen died.

When I restart reflection and tried to log into JSPM, at the password prompt they give error saying cannot log in.

I suspect another JSPM is logging into SDM (presumably by the last session)

how do I stop the previous session? if I kill the SDM process will it affect the JSPM deployment of the support package?

thanks.

Jansen

Hello Jansen,

ther should be some log files in:

/usr/sap/<SID>/dvebmgsxx/j2ee/JSPM/log

Perhaps there you can find more information,

regards, Michael

Thanks for the reply....I've check the log and it just mentioned "fail to connect to user interface".

As to why my reflection X suddenly died: reason unknown.

Anyway I just restarted the SDM process. All the JSPM deployment were rolled back. Gotta deploy them again.

Thanks.
