Data Buffer Quality is less than 80%

Hi SAP Guru's,

We are getting Data Buffer Quality 80% for the last 15 days in the ST04 screen.but SAP Recommands that it should be more than 96%.

My Plate form is :-

Window NT*

ECC 6.0

Oracle 10G

Please suggest that which database parameter need to be change.

Hi Vinay,

your buffer pool is only 800MB. This is may be to small. But a bad buffer quality could be caused also by bad optimizer statistics or missing indexes. You should check first for missing indexes, run update statistics first and then if nothing helped, you should increase your buffer if you still have free memory. This could be checked in transaction ST06 or OS06.

Hi Vinay,

Try and schedule a EWA session with SAP or if you have a Solution Manager connection to your system.

Make the necessary changes on your for OS, DB and SAP Memory parameters that would come in the report.
