How to use alert FM SALRT _ CREATE _ API

Hi All

Anyone knows how to use the alert FM SALRT _ CREATE _ API such that the sender of the alert reflects that it is from a system id eg SAPBATCH.

The FM is embedded in the Shopping cart SAVE BADI and it will be triggered online and not via background job.

Hi,

You just need to pass the Alert category to the FM e.g for SC ,you can pass SRM_SHOPPING_CART.

If reqd,you can see the where used list for this FM to see how this FM is being used in the std programs like RSALRTDEMO1 ,SSF_ALERT_CERTEXPIRE_FUNC etc.
