CCM Views for the catalog role

Hi All,

We are working on CCM 2.0 and SRM 5.0 server where we are trying to add the views to the catalog roles which is to be assigned to the relevant users to control the access to the different catalogs.

When we go to any of the catalog roles, (Search, Manager and Approver), if we select Assign Catalog Views to Roles with the Personalization object key as /CCM/VIEW_ASSIGNMENTS and say change then we get a message as Processing cancelled.

Message no. SPERS020

What could be the reason?

We earlier used the same in SRM 4.0 and assigned the catalogs to these roles and then to users but in SRM 5.0 this is happening?

What did we missout?

Our roles are ok with profiles and completed for user comparisons.

Can anyone help us out in this regard?

views created for "master" or "procurement" catalolg

will be available for the role

/CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH

in the PFCG personalisation

we are on SRM 5.0 and it is working for us.

Hi Dinesh,

Thanks for your reply exactly the same thing we are trying here but it shows that error when the catalog is not published after creating the view.

We did not publish the changes in earlier case
