MACRO: Bucket type in Interactive Planning (Planning Book)

Dear specialists,

I though maybe somebody of you knew how to determine the type of buckets using MACROs ?

I need to descrete the bucket type in order to change calculation logic of some key-figures depending on the fact whether the bucket is weekly or daily.

I dont think it is possible to determine the granularity of the bucket under consideration through standard macro functions. Macro just works on buckets irrespective of its granularity. I would recommend to explore user exit macros that interrogates the planning bucket profile (used in dataview definition) for your requirement.
