Hello everybody,
we are running SAP MI 2.5 SP 11 and we have installed the Mobile Application "Mobile Time Sheet" and "Mobile Travel Expense". Version 1.6 SR2 PL00. We have uploaded the Applications "CATS_NOTEBOOK, EXPENSE and TE_BASICS" to the WebConsole and a couple of users have successfully synchronized the applications. The assignment of the applications is done via roles in the backend system. We now have to upgrade these Applications to PL05. We followed the corresponding Notes (901918 and 849495) and we uploaded the Patches to the WebConsole giving them additional Application names like "CATS_NOTEBOOK_16_SR2_PL05". The types of these Application (Patches) are "Add_on". On the Backend-System we have enhanced the role with additional "MiniApps" with the name of the Patches. After role-synchronization the new patches appear on the WebConsole for synchronization. However, after the synchronization, the MI client doesn't come up again. We tried to synchronize a user who already had installed the Applications and also tried to synchronize a new user who never had installed the Applications (he should get the Application plus the Patch in one step).
What's going wrong. Has anybody already installed Applications plus Patches and is doing the assignment via roles?

Hi Michael,
PL05 patch is related to the application or mobile engine framework.Did you get any error after synchronization in the trace file??
