Offline Adobe security issue

Hey experts,

I have developed an interactive PDF Form for Purchase Order.

I have created a BAPI and exposed it as a web service.

The PDF consumes the web serivce - it works when I do not put any security on the web service.

But, If I use any security in the web service - the PDF can not sumbit the data.

Can you please give me any doco that explains how to pass basic auth from PDF to a web service or to a HTTP URL.

Points for the answer.

This option is not recomended. For offline forms it is recommended to use GP or send by mail or upload when the system is online.

It is definitly possible - I have done it so many times.

Only worry is the authentication - how would that work?

What is the best practice?
