Please give the steps to get inspection lot created automatically while doing the GR.

From Transaction prospective:

Master Data:

MM01 - Maintain Quality Management View followed by maintaining the Inspection Type 04 (Production Orders)

CS01 - Maintain BOM

CR01 - Maintain W/C (Control Key - with Inspection Charactestics checked)

QS21 - Maintain Inspection Charactestics (Quantity/Quanlitative)

CA01 - Maintain Routing + Inspection Charactestics which you created (pick up the sampling

procedure while the defining the inspection charactestics)

Planning Prospective:

Md02 - Run MRP

Md04 - Convert Planned order to prod Order

C040 - Release the production Order

C011n/CO15 - Confirmation of Production orders

Good Reciept:

MIGO:Goods Reciept

MvtType 101

You will view the respective production orders for which GR is done, it will be moved to

QM lot (MD04)

Hi

You need to maintain following master data to create inspection lot automtically.

1. Create QM view in material and maintain inspection type as per your requirement.

04 - If you want to create inspection for production order goods receipt

01 - If you want to create inspection for purchase order goods receipt.

2. Create inspection plan for material for usage goods receipt.

Note - before creating inspection plan , you need master inspection characteristic and sampling procedure as per your requirement.

3. Post goods receipt for purchase order or production order.

4. system will automtically create inspection lot.

Hi Raju,

In spro setting follow this navigation pth

Quality management>quality inspection->define default values for inspection type

Select the inspection type 05. In this tick the check box assign requirement automatically.

additionally to the Kumar instruction, you must to create the QM material master view for the material and assign that Inspection type to the material, and do it active.
