My Scenario File to XI -(IDOC Adapter) R/3.

-

Error: Transaction IDX1: Port A000000014, client , RFC destination contain errors

I spoke to my R/3 Counter Part and they said A000000014 is the Port number. I looked into the SM59 for my RFC destination and the test connection was successful . Still I have no idea why I am getting the above error.

I am maintaining the File in a Business System under Service Without Party.

R/3 is also maintained in the Busines System Under Service Without party.

We are in SP 14.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Naveen,

the Ports in XI are different to the ones in R/3. A000000014 is the R/3 port. The XI port will be something like SAP<SID>. Have a look at this help page with details about ports in XI: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3b/beb13b00ae793be10000000a11402f/content.htm

Thanks a lot Christine. Yes you are correct.

In my Receiver IDOC Adapter, there is an Attribute called PORT , I filled this field with the PORT number that was created in R/3. But, this port field here refers to the Port that was created in IDX1.

Thanks again.
