Dear experts,
We are using CCM 2.0 , SRM 5.5 and Portal7
We would like to create a user profile on Portal that can only view and search on the CCM catalog ,
Please your idea how we can implement this request.

Hi,
To view the catalog on portal the user should have CAT attribute maintained in the org. structure (PPOMA_BBP) with catalog name.
And the user should be assigned with the relavant catalog roles in SU01 that of a catalog user.
/CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH - this role should be assigned to a user to view and search the catalog.
You can assign other roles like /CCM/CATALOG_MANAGER and /CCM/CATALOG_APPROVER to a user who maintains the catalog.
Hope this makes you more clear and helps in better understanding about your issue. Clarifications are welcome.

Thanks for your prompt reply .
We have follow your instructions,
The role /CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH is assigned to the user , but when we access to the system the user get a white screen without any menu for catalog search .
If we add the roles :
/CCM/CATALOG_MANAGER and /CCM/CATALOG_APPROVER
The user can maintain the catalog but also there is no menu for "Catalog Search"
We need only the "Catalog Search" function

role /CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH
should be assigned to the log on user for service " srm_cse "
this is the integrating user which will log on to CSE of CCM
when the EBP user will click on catalog link
EBP user will receive the catalog link on his shopping page via the value of CAT attribute
and this EBP will call this CCM catalog via call structure maintained in the EBP config
for portal you need to import EBP iviews to portal
