Hello,

The items which are kept in stock (physical stock) is called inventory item. This will be relevent for movements.

Eg: materials (pumps, steel...etc)

The items which are not kept in stock is called non-inventory items. This is not relevent for movements.

Eg: Service Materials (Cleaning of pump, painting the wall)

The inventory item = Stockable items

Examples:- Computers,Mobile phones ,Cars etc....

Itemcategory group NORM

non inventory item = Non stockable itmes,

Examples:- Service to the customers,Software related products

Itemcategory group NLAG

In general,

Inventory Item - Available In stock.

Non Inventory - Not in stock.
