I am doing stock transfer order between two plants in one company code....

what is define checking rule....what is create checking rule

what is Assign del. type and checking rule...

can anyone please explain me?

Hi sap Sdsd,

This is relevant for the availbility check at what level the availability check should carry out.

Example:- If you take A -- SD order (Availability check at sales order level)

If you take B--Sd delivery(Availability checking at delivery)

what is Assign del. type and checking rule...

You assign UB order type to NL delivery type and give checking rule "B"-SD delivery.

SPRO>Material Management>Purchasing-->Purchase Requsition>Set up stock transport Requsition>Create checking rule - Define Checkin rule and Assign Checking Rule.
