CONDITION TYPE

Hi,

In Condition Type, In Control Data2 there is field "EXCLUSIVE",

I have seen help(f1) but I'm getting confused to that description,

Can any body explain this field,

Exclusion (not Exclusive) indicator if selected indicates whether this condition type is relevant for condition exclusion.

If you want to set the condition exclusion indicator for all condition records of a condition type (e.g.with condition type PR00) then you specify it when defining a condition type in SD Customizing by checking this box.

Hi Sruthi,

Exclusion means Exclude, so if you set that field the system automatically Excludes(Will not take in to consideration while pricing) the condition type during the pricing calculation in the sales documents.

You can set this Indicator at two places.

1.If you want exclude perticuler conditon record you can set Exclusion indicator in the condition record detail screen.

2.If you want to Exclude all condition records for a condition type you need to set Exclusion indicators in the Condition type detail screen.

This is EXCULSION and not EXCLUSIVE

The use of condition exclusion is

Condition exclusion indicator can be set either at the condition record level or at the condition type configuration level.

This indicator deactivates all the discount condition types that fall under this specific condition type, where the indicator has been marked.

Prerequsites to maintain a condtion exclusion :

1st of all you need to maintain conditon excluson group t.code is OV31, which is used to group the condition types.

2nd is you will be assigning the condition exclusion group to the condtion type , t.code is OV32

3rd is you will be selecting your pricing procedure and you will be assigning the required condition types and the exclusion group and save it . t.code is VOK8

so say for example:

K004, K005 are two condtions and you want to exclude any one condition

for you have to defined two exclusoin groups as Z100 and Z101

for Z100 you have assigned K004 condition type

for Z101 you have assigned K005 condition type

now in VOK8, when you enter the rule and the exclusion groups (Z100 ,Z101)so now you have entered K004 and K005 condtion types in the condition exclusion and you have maintained any one rule.

there are 4 rules.

1) least favorauble condition type within exclusion grp

2) most favourable condition type within a exclusion grp

3) least favaourable condition type within the condition type

4)Best favaourable condition type within the condition type

Based on the rule it will deactivate the condition type (K004 or K005) and it will show as in inactive mode in sales order
