table height manipulations

good day experts.

im developing forms using smartforms. but i could not control the heights of every rows. i tried to change the minimum height but it does not work. is there any way to control the height of every rows in a table?

Also, how could i place shades on the header of a table? example

-- > this header must be color light gray

to distinguish it from the body of the table.

Date	Employee Name	Position

Moreover, how could i merge rows or columns of a table?

Hi,

If you need to control the heights for a table row it is not possible if you need to control any way use table control.Table controls are only for fixed width and fixed height.

If you need to use the shadings do as follows.

-> Draw two rows of same columns in table or templeate one for header and the second for data.

-> In that table painter you can find the pencil mark in the toolbar above the table painter

->Select the pencil mark now the arrow changes to the 4 arrows cursor when we place on the table row.

-> Now select the enteir row by selecting the control + Mouse Click

-> Now in the shading above the table painter select the colour you need to give it for the header and select the table pattern for it

->Now give the selected line for the header and the non selected line for the data.
