Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103.

A central server installation of ERP 2005 SR2 fails in the ABAP import

step with the following error:

sapinst_dev.log:

ERROR 2008-05-25 06:02:54

CJSlibModule::writeError_impl()

CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For

details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.

We have run this installation successfully on 6 systems with the same media and without any issues however installation on the current server always fails.

I have run the install with four different version of the kernel (SAPEXE and SAPEXEDB) and with two versions of the JRE but it always fails in the second to last import of the Import ABAP phase.

The only difference that I am aware of is the server model.

I did not find a solution for the installation error but managed to create the system using a homogenous system copy.

Hi,

did you get a solution of your problem?

I had more than one time the same problem.

The reason of the problem is, the SAPINST could not find the Export CD's that was mounted over a share like you used,

the pathname ist to log for SAPINST.

The solution is for this Problem is, you have to do a copy of the Export CD's to a local drive on the server.

the best way, you start a new installation, otherwise you can try to edit the file keydb.xml and change the path of the Export CD's.

Kind regards

Volker

Hi,

If the Database is Oracle. This is the Solution.

First check the database is Up.

Second increased the PSAPSR3700 tablespace manualy( Say 20GB), the import ABAP process will work.

I had the similat issue. It worked for me.

Thanks

Syed Zameer.
