Azim,

1. Try to Open the Portal URL in an Web Browser.

2. Login to the Portal with the super admin user.

In a standalone JAVA installation you should connect using the user administrator

In a doublestack system: Use user: j2ee_admin

3.Close ALL browsers except the portal browser and then call the http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/sld

in the same Portal browser window.Provide j2ee_admin/Administrator username and password.

You should be able to login now.

4. if you are not able to login, let me know the error in Trace/Log files.

I get the following error messages:

"You do not have permission to view the System Landscape Directory. Minimum required: UME role with permission com.sap.lcr.LcrUser and J2EE role LcrUser"

"SLD not configured; configure the SLD in Administration first"

Azim,

1. If you are loggin in to the Portal as Administrator/j2ee_admin user, you should be having the role "LcrAdministrator".Search for this role and assign this role to your j2ee_admin or Administrator

2. Have you done the Post Installation Configuration of SLD.

Please go through the SLD configuration first.

3.If you go to http://host:port/sld -> Administrator tab is disabled because Your "Administrator" user doesnt have Security Role "LcrAdministrator".

All these steps mentioned clearly in Post Installation Guide. Please read all the steps carefully and go ahead and Configure your system.

4. Check this Post -Installation Guide:

5. If you dont have service market place user id and password:
