block fields..

Hi Team,

The Question Goes on like this....

If for example we consider the

Create Inquiry:Intial Screen(TCode VA11) we

have fields called

Inquiry Type

Organisation data

Sales Organisation

Distribution Channel

Division

Sales office

Sales group

My question is If at all I want to block fields

distribution channel and sales group in this

screen ..how should I block and is this possible

If at all plz guide me....

Well, for example you could use the forums' search function. Variant transactions may be what you're looking for. That's if the question is about SD.....

The easiest way to do this is simply add the transaction in the "Transactions" tab, then go to the "Authorizations" tab and check all the objects that you're allowed to restrict.

If what you want to restrict is not there, then the only way to do this is with an user-exit.
