Username disappears from login screen if incorrect password entered

Hi All,

We have ITS 6.20 with Patch 28. Backend is SAP R/3 4.6B

We use the ITS for the ESS service. In the ESS login screen if I enter an incorrect username/Password, the username field disappears and I have the option to only enter the password. Please let me know if you all need any other info on the error.

Hello Salman,

what is the setting for ~runtimemode?

As far as I remember there have been some changes in the template system/dm/login.html. But this has been a long time before patchlevel 28.

I checked with my ITS and found it working pretty well.

However, there is some logic in that template that in case ~clientcert is set to "2" and the username also is set the username will not be displayed.

Hi Thorsten,

The runtime mode is dm, also the ~clientcert is set to 1.

The issue is that the username disappears if I enter an incorrect password otherwise everything seems to be working fine.
