Hi,

Are you using the correct CDs?

> Creating coprocess /oracle/CDV/bin/sqlplus internal @/oracle/sapinst/sapr3_user as user oracdv and group dba

should start svrmgrl not sqlplus. On 806 sqlplus does not have implemented the functionality that it is being called

I nuked everything and tried everything again and still same error. I can connect to svrmgrl perfectly fine. I need to fix this soon... any other solutions? May be I installed oracle wrong?

Should I patch oracle 8.0.6 first before proceeding with the SAP installation?

BTW, Thanks for the reply.

Hi Seelan,

While installing Oracle Software you must not create the DB instance, in a step Oracle asks to created DB instance say no there and continue with SAP Installation and let the SAP installation create the DB instance.

Kindly confirm if you are following the same.
