Error In document Distribution

Hi,

whenever im trying to Distribute Document, Im getting this error.

Not assigned to distr. order package

In that, The exceptions are colored RED.

If i selec the check box and click the start manually button,

Its showing an error

"Only Partial Orders with status AS, MA, Er, WO, or WR are allowed"

How to resolve this?

Hi MRK,

please activate the workflow templates again in transaction SWDD:

- WS20000104

- WS20000137

Furthermore, please check whether the data processing distribution type (e.g.: INT) has been maintained with value "2" in SPRO customizing and verify that the event type linkage is set in SWE2 for BUS1082 INITATED.

So,Go to swe2 transaction. In the the line below set the 'Type linkage' flag.

BUS1082 INITATED WS20000104

Thanks for the info but, All these settings are fine.

But still im getting the error.

Two more questions:

1) I went to the CV04N Tcode and found a set of DIRs.

I selected two DIRs, went to extras and clicked start distribution and When i try to distribute the set of DIRs.

Im getting only one Distribution package and only one DIR. im not getting another DIR.

2) Is anywhere the distributed document details get stored in SAP? if so where i can see that? eg. sent items in our mail box.

Hi MRK,

the problem is maybe that the mentioned document info record contains two

different workstation applications. To send attachments you have to

enter the application in the field "Appl" in transaction CVI8. If you

want to send different applications or all applications then you have to

maintain the value '*'.

The logic to determine the default application is explained in the F1

help available for field 'Application' in TA cvi8:

The default value for the workstation application at the start of

distribution is reported as follows:

-> Workstation application from the document:

When only one workstation application is defined for a document then

this is set as default.

-> Workstation application from the recipient list:

If one recipient list is allocated to one document that is allocated

to one workstation application then this workstation application is

set as default.

> If several recipient lists exist with different workstation

applications for this document then the following cirteria are read:

If no workstation application has been determined in earlier steps,

then the system checks the default workstation application of the

document type (Setting in step Define document types).

> Determination of a workstation application to be distributed in a

Customer Exit (SAP enhancement CVDI0010)

Distribute all original files:

When you enter the special character * for workstation application then

all original files of the document are distributed.

Distribute no originals:

If you enter no value (BLANK) for for the workstation application then

no originals are distributed.

So if you enter the value '*' then the attachments are transferred

correctly.

Hi Christoph,

Thanks for the detailed mail.

Let me explain you my poblem detaily,

I have two DIRs with default workstation application as ACD.

the DIRs are of same Document Type MRK.

1) DIR 1000000000633 with Drawing as attachment.

2) DIR 1000000000634 with Drawing as attachment.

I went into DIR 1000000000634 and clicke start distribution.

Start distribution page appreared.

I selected the other DIR 1000000000633 in the documen list.

In the recipient list i entered the internal user details.

I executed distribution. an Initia order got created.

I again entered into DIR 1000000000634 and clicked on Display Log and went to Distribution log,

the distribution log for DIR 1000000000634 is not available. Why it is not available?

So I selected DIR 1000000000633 and executed distribution log.

Two Entries got listed.

1) Package = 174, Status = PC, Document = 1000000000633

2) Not assigned to Distr.Order Package...

I went to the TCode : SOST

i selected the distribution package 174

and clicked start send process for Selection. and pressed yes.

After this i getting mail with the subject as "Doc. distribution package: 174"

and Document details of 1000000000633.

What happened to the DIR 1000000000634??

That is not coming in the mail?

Actually i have selected two DIRs in the document list but only one DIR is coming properly.

What could be the problem?

Pls help me in resolving this issue.

apart form my detialed information.

Simply to say, Im getting only one document in eMail not the others.

Eg,

If i add Documents 1,2,3,4 in doucument list of CVI8 and Exceute it, Im getting document 4 in mail not the other 1,2,3 in mail.

Is there any configuration need to be checked?
