Communication to and fro between 2 DCs

Hi,

I have created 2 DCs in WD for Java - DC1 and DC2.

In DC1 I have embedded DC2 (DC2- InterfaceController had been made public). Communication from DC1 (view1) to DC2(view2) is successful.

How to make communication from DC2(view2) to DC1(view1) ?

If I try to create plug from DC2 to DC1 (will get cyclic error), unable to create plugs

Please suggest the solution

Hi anmol,

You have to use the DC1 (View) in DC2 (View) then you have to add the DC2 into DC1.

Go to DC Metadata-> CD Definition -> Used Dc.. Right click and click on Add Used DC.

Once you add the DC then you have to add the "Used component"..

Go to "Used Web Dynpro Component" right click and click on "Add Used component" and select the component to be used.

Now you can use the DC2 components & Views in DC1.
