Hi,
I'm using srmadmin as the user that maintains all the BPs.
When I try to modify a vendor in the web txn BBPMAININT a message appears:
"Error reading roles ( Not maintenated / no authorization? )"
But the BP has the bidder role and the vendor role.
My srmadmin user has the property role.
Could anybody help to me?
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Hi,
The user ( using Manage business partners transaction - BBPMAININT ) should have the roles
Composite roles ->
SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR
Single Roles ->
SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR
Also user needs to be a valid User within the SRM organization structure w/ Attributes maintained, along with Attribute ROLE.Manage attribute Role in PPOMA_BBP for the user.

for the position of the user "srmadmin"
in the attribute "user role"
enter role SAP_BBP_STAL_EMPLOYEE
this should solve the issue
I have also seen this error without the above attribute value.
you can also key in this attribute value at top level if it is no harm in internal org structure

Hi David,
in the SU53 you can see the last authorily check which failed for one specific user, or you can execute a full authority trace in the ST01, and check the missing object/activity.

Hi,
Do you have your srmadmin in your organization structure?
What do you mean property roles?
The srm administrator who has Manage business partners BBPMAINT has to be there in the organization structure to maintain the business partners and their employees.

Sridhar
