Hi,
SAP has schedule for auditing by next week.We have limited 2000 users license for portal environment. We are using EP7.0 ABAP+JAVA stack. UME is ABAP stack.
Since our ume is ABAP stack we need to create the users in 001 client but we have more than 2000 users created. As per the standard practice I have cleaned few users by locking the user id,expire date, and removed the roles.but still i can see the users count in portal.
what is the SAP standard practise for portal user license once the user terminated from the company?
Can we delete the users.

even you lock the usrid in 001 client user status remain in green colour in EP so count is unchanged we have same problem but our EP system is connected to active directory server
solution would be delete userid in client 001

Hi,
As far as i know you can lock the users.
SAP doesn't suggest you to delete the users.
But strange that you have created the users in 001 client,
Any time for portal you can create a backend connectivity to other client(by doing a client copy). Then you can add a system and create the users in that client which is other than 001,000.

Vamshi.
