BRbackup license errors

Hi Friends,

After our system is upgraded to Ecc6.0 we are getting the follwoing error when running the offline backup .

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib:

===...could not load SSF library libsapsecu.so .

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib: likey_init: Couldn't load SAPSECULIB ("libsapsecu.so") using function SsfSupInit (), rc = 10.

BR1302W Initialization of license key library likeywlib failed, return code 1

BR1304W Checking SAP license failed at location BrLicCheck-104

BR0602W No valid SAP license found

I have checked in System Status - the license expires in 9999. I have read note 912969 and we are under patch level 32.

When i run saplicense -show under unix it comes with message saying no entries found.

Please help freinds to resolve the same.

run tcode SLICENSE and check whether valid license found or not?

Hi,

download the latest sapseculib patch from service.sap.com for your SAP release.

and put it in /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run

Hi,

Recently they have upgraded the system to ECC 6.0 with the latest level ,the brspace is in latest patch level 32. So i don't think so to install the latest patch level of sapseculib.

Please help me to find the latest patch of sapseculib.

So that i can post the the latest level used.

Hi,

go through following link

service.sap.com/swdc -> downloads -> SAP Support Packages -> Entry by Application Group -> Additional Components -> SAPSECULIB -> SAPSECULIB 5.4

now select you OS and download SECULIB54***** .SAR

also check Note 870138 - SAPSECULIB updates (5.4.28M-x)

The environment variable DIR_LIBRARY was needed to satisfy a requirement for SAP's brbackup so that brbackup could find the SAP library - libsapsecu.so. This variable was added to the environment with the following commands:

KEYWORDS:

1. cd /opt/omni/lbin

#./util_cmd_putopts SAP BCQ DIR_LIBRARY `/usr/sap/BCQ/SYS/exe/run'\-sublist Environment

Friends, my question, backups are run HP , so do they need to add this up or do i need to add, if how should i add the same. I tried but not able to add the same. Do i need to do as root or can i do as SID<adm>.

Hi,

you have already solution you need to execute the above commnad as sidadm.

login to unix with sidadm user and execute that command.

Aroop,

You should be a root user while executing the script. Not with the SIDADM. I think this would solve ur problem.

Hi,

I have executed the above env variable command in the test system and it has worked fine. In the PRD system ihave excuted and the execution is successfull. But still the Licence error comes in PRD system. any suggestions please, do u think i have to restart the system.

You should be a root [user], while executing this script. This should solve ur problem..

Hi,

Seems Like you have the Problem with samnt/<SID> soft links.Please check the softlike pointing to right path.

/usr/sap/<SID> and on.
