Milestone billing in standard network when reeferncing a quotation

I have a project which is usubg a standard network with a milestone on an activity. When creating the project automatically from the sales order line item. The billing plan is being populated as expected on the billing tab in the line item.

However if I create a quotation first and reference this when creating a sales order the billing plan is not populated on the order line item. I don't wish to have a billing plan in the quotation. Can anybody suggest where I'm going wrong?

Hi,

Check the settings in:

SPRO>PS>Revenue and Earnings->Planned revenues->Automatic plan revenue calcultaion--->Specify revenue plan updated from sales document.

Uncheck the Quotation and keep the check mark only for sales order.

You need to look close at your SD configuration. I assume you use assembly processing to create a project from the sales order. The billing coming from the standard network somehow is conflicting with the information coming from the quote. Perhaps item category on sales order line item is incorrectly set up or the billing plan determination is incorrectly set up in SD.
