Status profile config

Hi,

I have configured Status profiles , and i assigned this to the Item level.I want to use this for one customer only.

as the sales order types and item categories are same for all the other customers.

to propose status profile to my customer, i have copied the Item category TAN and renamed with ZTAN and assigned the Status profile to ZTAN, now to determine ZTAN to my customer, i have maintained CMIR and created a usage for this to determine ZTAN item category in the sales order,It is determining.

is this practice correct are is there any other way.

pls suggest.

Hi Sayed

Nothing Wrong with what you have done. But normally the status profile for item category is done only in the case that item is to behave in a particular way in the document.

But since the solution is solving your purpose then no harm in doing it this way.
