Sai,

Would you please clarify your question? The Data Manager is a GUI client for MDM that allows you to manipulate the data that is stored in the database. One of the features of the Data Manager is the ability to identify duplicate records and conslidate them into one record.

The Syndicator is a seperate GUI client for MDM that allows you to push data out of the MDM database and into a variety of formats.

Hi Sai,

In Data Manager Matching and Merging will match the duplicate values and merge them.

For Example

Vendor A has 2 duplicates in repository will match them and merge in to single record.

Vendor A

Vendor A

Finally Vendor A

In syndicator we have a option called Merge items , will Merge fields from external file

For example if you have fields Field1,Field2 are in your source table and Field3 and Field4 are in External file.

You can merge all fields in to a Target File.

Field1

Field2

Field3

Field4

Hope you understood this . let me know for any clarifications.
