Hi, there

In XI 3.0 after configured SMTP nodes then check e mail I got an error

"Cannot process message in SAP System"

Futher trace this error messages help get information like this

"Processing was terminated in the SAP system. The reason is given in the details below:

No ESMTP Plug-In Is Available for SAPconnect

Application Server Used by the Send Process:

(Schedule Send Process on App.Server with Plug-In)"

Check the configuration in my system:

ICF services is actived ESMTP

SMTP

SCOT - Only SMTP nodes there nothing else

SETTING - DEFAULT DOMAIN - default doman listed there

MAIL HOST: smtp.company.com

MAIL PORT: 25

ADDRESS AREA "*"

Hi Awan,

As we are doing settings in SMTP,there is no need of RFC Connection.Sorry for my previous answer.

Hi Awan,

If you use SMTP check the note --> 455140.

Check whether the RFC is working fine or not. and do the settings accordingly as explained in the SAP Note - 455140 and also check in the Transaction - SOST for more error message.

Thanks for reply, I read that note pretty much same... let me ask you about RFC connection

is that RFC connection need for SMTP ?
