Download Software components dependence

Hi,

We have to download 3 .sca files for check-in of dependences in CMS Track.

Those files are:

SAP_JTECHS.sca (Sp14)

SAP_BUILDT.sca (Sp14)

SAP-JEE.sca (Sp14)

We don't find the files.

Where can I download those files?

Hi,

You need to install the JDI separately. Go to http://service.sap.com/patches -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP Net Weaver -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 04 -> NWDI -> JDI 6.40 -> #OS independent

These files will be available once you deploy the JDI sca files.

Hi Antonella,

if you don´t find the SP14 SCAs in the described directory because your NWDI installation may be older, you can donwload them from sevice marketplace.

SAP Note 891223 describes this.

Look on Service Marketplace under Downloads - Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group - SAP NetWeaver - SAP NETWEAVER - SAP NETWEAVER 04 - Entry by Component - Development Infrastructure

The patches are under "OS Independent".

I do have a question related to this:

If you have 3 tracks (for different projects) that use the same systems DEV - QAS - PRD, do you have to import these files in each track (i.e. 3 times into DEV for track1, track2, track3), or is it sufficient to import them only in one track ?

You need to import them in all tracks, because you cannot use SC's from other tracks. DC's created in your company's SC depend on DC's from these 3 base SC's and thus need to be available in each track.
