3 Service Number: HTTP Port name

4 Path Prefix: /sap/XI/engine/?type=entry

Logon Security

On the Logon/Security tab page, enter the following logon data:

1 User: XIAPPLUSER (for example); this user should represent the sending business system -

This user shld be there in XI or R/3???

Hi Suman,

You have to give PIAPPLUSER only. You can't give your user id.

Any user Id with the role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER should do the trick.

Suman,

As Jai said if you have SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role with your user id then you can use your's but otherwise you have to use PIAPPLUSER.

Sarvesh

Hi

1)SM59 in R/3 System (Business System

************************************************

RFC DESTN:TESTRFCDEST

conn type=H

target host=XI HOST NAME / XI IP ADDRESS

service no=80XX (SYSTEM NO OF XI)

prefix=/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

user=USERNAME OF XI SERVER

pwd=xxxxxx

client=100 (CLIENT OF XI SERVER)

LANG=EN

after that you have to test the connection.

This is XI user which should be used in rfc destination u create at R3 system. This rfc destination is pointing towards the XI system using this user
