Differnce between Net price and Amount in Sales order overview sreen

Hi Gurus,

Please tell me what is the differnce between Net price and Amount in Sales order overview sreen, and Net value also, if possible with example...

Hi

Net price is the Base price + any surcharges or discounts

after adding the taxes and freight will give the net value.

The netvalue for all the line items will be the netvalue of the document (on the overview screen)

And after sdding all values together Net value + taxesfrieght chargesinsurances etc is known as a gross value

Net price is related to the line item of that particular material , for example if you have , 2 line items in the sales order you can see in the line item 10 and line item 20 the net price of each material

Net value is for header ,that means the total value of all the line items (say line item10 and line item 20)

hello, friend.

Net Price refers to the line item. it is the product of 1) price per unit and 2) quantity. for example, your PR00 for material 1001 is $50 each. the order quantity is 10 pieces. your net price should be $500.

Amount is the value you set for the line item when you do VK11. Net Price is Amount less discounts plus surcharges.

Net Value refers to the header. it is the sum of all item Net Prices. so, if the net price of item 10 is $1000, net price of item 20 is $1500, your document Net Value should be $2500.
