Service Desk: Transaction Type: SLFN vs. ZLFN

Hi!

I have the question regarding the transaction types SLFN vs. ZLFN

When I use the standard transaction type SLFN I have only 2 tabs:

Fast Entry

Transaction Data

When the customized transaction type ZLFN is used I have 3 tabs:

Fast Entry

Item Details

Transaction

I would like to use the settings of ZLFN (with 3 tabs).

How can I use/customize the settings of ZLFN for SLFN?

The reason why you got 3 tabs for ZLFN is because you did not assign/create a screen profile for ZLFN.

Íf you want SLFN to contain the third tab you have to delete the screen profile for SLFN. (SRVO-SLFN)

But I do not know if you will get any side effects by doing this.

This can be achieved by somthing called as Screen Profile Customizing............

The TCode for this is CRMV_SSC...

The Idea is to have same Customzing settings for Trans type ZLFN as Trans Type SLFN....

thank you very much for your response!

My main problems are:

1) when I set the transaction type to ZLFN I cannot see the service desk messages under tcode DSWP

2) I would like to achieve quite the contrary:

I would like to have the settings within transaction type ZLFN in transaction type SLFN

When I solve 2) also 1) will be solved.

Do you know how to achieve this?

Hi Thom,

Sorry - this is not in answer to your query, but a related query.

If, after successfully creating ZLFN, you want to set up SolMan such that messages created within SolMan (SOLAR01/02, Testing etc.) should use ZLFN while messages created from other satellite systems should use SLFN, how do you do that ?

I thought you may also have had such a need and hence this query.
