pls any one tell me

when we installing DEV and PRD server (ECC 6.0)

can we have to fill different SM keys for DEV and PRD server?

pls ans me also give some sugessionsssssss

Yes.

The solution manager keys are based on

- hostname

- instance number

- SID

What do you mean? The algorithm how it´s calculated it "secret". You need an installed and configured Solution Manager to install the system, it will generate the keys.

I have done the SAP ECC 5.0 IDES insatllation but dont have any idea abut DEV & PRD so pls can u tell me what are the difference steps while installing IDES DEV & PRD

You install them identically - on one you develop on the other people are working.
