Hi,

Smartforms are cross-client objects, which need not be transported accross clients on a single server (using SCC1 will return an error!).

If you are asking how to transport over the system landscape (from, for example, Test to QAS), then follow the standard process: Release your Change request in SE10, and then go to STMS (import queue), where your request should go after releasing. Start the import, you'll need to login to the destination server, and wait for the system to finish (watch for the status icons).

If you need to transport your SF between the different systems, then use the download functionality. Go to SMARTFORMS, choose menu "Utilities", then Download. This will download the form in XML format. Then log on to the second system, again go to SMARTFORMS, choose menu Utilities and Upload. Select your XML file, save, and you're done!

Regards,

SD.

hi

if u want to transfer form one client to another client on same server then not require , coz SF r client independent objects.

even if u require then u can use COPY command button at t.code SMARTFORMS to copy.

OR if u want to transfer from one server to another server then download SF to u local system in .XML format by using Menu Bar -

> Utilities -

> More Utilities -

> Download .

then similarly upload to target server .

reward if helpful.

No need to transport smart forms from one client to other as smart forms are client independent.

Assign smartform into a transport request and release it from development sever and import it in quality using SMTS transaction.
