RSA1 is not working in 001 client in BI7.0

Hello,

We have installed BI 7.0 with ABAP+Java stack with default clients 000,066,001.

When i run RSA1 transaction code in 001 client it says work in 000 client.

Please clarify the following

1) Can we use 001 as production client or do i need to create new client by doing client copy from 000.

2) what are the configuration activities to be done in 001 If i have to use 001 as my production client?

3) Is client copy from 000 to 001 is mandatory to work with RSA1 Tcode?

Please let me know

Background:

BW 7.0 ( ABAP+JAVA Stack)

OS: Windows 2003

DB: MSSQL 2005

Usually client 001 is not used for production as is meant to be a production preparation client, read,

If i was you just create a new client different that 000, 001 and 066

RSA1 should be executed for BW administration workbench on your productive client not at client 000 as far as i know.

How to connect the new client with java stack If i have to create new client for production use.

Please let me know if there is any help link available for the same?

I do agree that,it has to be executed in production client but when i I am executing the tcode RSA1 in 001 but it gives error message as follows

You can only work in 000 and come out of the screen.

you can use 001 client as your production client, to use:

go to se16 enter table "rsadmina" select the entry

table entry-> change goto then place 001againt BWMANDT (000 default)

there is no need to do client copy from 000

Again.. is NOT advisable to use 001!...

create a new client as a copy of 000 and use that instead of 001
